GIST : No bikini parade at this year’s Miss World Pageant

Sorry guys, this year’s Miss World Pageant will not include the famous bikini parade.

This year’s contest is held in Indonesia and because of protests from Muslims in the country, the contestants will instead wear conservative beach sarongs.

‘There will no bikini in this year’s Miss World pageant to respect our traditional customs and values’ said the local organizers. ‘This is a sensitive issue in Indonesia. We have discussed it since last year and they have agreed.’
