After a while of intense solar rage, residents of Lagos had probably thought this would be the new Face of Lagos where heat and dust are the order of the day, coupled with the stress of having no bikes, commuters boarding commercial vehicles would have to condone the annoying stench of sweats from 'razz' bus conductors and still try to make sure they don't get past their destined bus stops.
And finally, the cloud grumbles, Lagos is Lagos Again!!
With the down pour so heavy earlier today, there's been nothing but both a mixed feeling of pleasure from the chill all day and fear of floods to come...
And yes the Flood came.
Awolowo Way, Ikeja was flooded this morning
Cars were submerged to window level, leaving a number of cars stuck
