STUDENTS OF OOU PROSTEST AGAINST ISSUE OF REPETITION OF SESSION

The Student of Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye are currently undergoing a peaceful Protest in form of Marching all the way from their respective residences to the school gate in order to show collective disinterest and disapproval for the decision made by the Current Administration of Which Prof. Saburi Adesanya is Vice-Chancellor.

The decision made by the administration upholds that any session that hasn't not been paid for by any student and as such, the students progresses to another level of study (e.g 100L-200L) that session not been paid for will be repeated, meaning Until payment of the unpaid session is met, such student is just being ignorant if he/she still attends classes.

There have been recurrent meetings with the VC on this matter and many more and it all ends with the students' requests not being met and this has led to the ongoing protest... More pictures below.

Na wa o. This is getting serious. I just hope this doesn't translate to strike as I would view it as a phenomenon in our school to always go on strike yearly
